Laptop Desk 2 0 by Lapworks

The Laptop Desk 2.0 is our strongest unit and known as the ‘workhorse’ of portable lap desks. It’s so strong that it can support the weight of a 12 lb. bouncing bowling ball. (We know we tested it repeatedly.) It’s not likely you’ll be bouncing your notebook on the 2.0 but if you ever do, at least you know it’ll take the beating. It’s strong because it’s made of Polycarbonate plastic - the strongest natural plastic on the planet. And the heavy duty hinges won’t give even under the weight of a 12 lb. bouncing bowling ball.

The Laptop Desk 2.0 was our very first dual purpose, fully portable lap desk and desktop typing stand. It has strips of no-slip rubber on top and bottom for maximum gripping – a total of 66 square inches of gripping rubber on the top surface alone. The Laptop desk 2.0 also has a series of ventilation channels that allow the heat that’s radiating from the bottom of your notebook to escape and draws cool air in to reduce your notebook’s heat build-up. On your lap the laptop desk 2.0 reduces the heat build-up in your notebook by up to 10%.

As a laptop desk the 2.0 completely spans your lap at 20-1/2” long. Its ergonomic benefit is that it allows your legs to relax naturally so they don’t have to strain being squeezed together to support your notebook. The more relaxed your legs are the longer you can work in comfort and reduce the ergonomic hazards of poor body posture with your notebook computer.

Iran Attacked by Computer Virus Again

ReviewEVERYwhere.blogspot.com
Officials in Iran called the second worm attacks  on the country  after  Stuxnet. However, antivirus experts have not detected it.

Brigadier General Gholam-Reza Jalali, a senior military official in Iran, claiming the existence of the worm type malware attacks on the country.

As quoted from TheRegister, Tuesday (26/04/2011), Jalali said the attack was still under investigation. The worm was dubbed the Stars and is referred to asvirus spy.

"Some characteristics of the Stars has been identified, including that it is compatible with systems that were attacked and damaged a little and could initially only be considered as one executable file owned by the government," said Jalali, head of the anti-sabotage unit in Iran.

Jalali did not mention what computer system targeted by the Stars. He also said his country should prepare for similar attacks in the future.

On the other hand, antivirus researchers outside of Iran claimed to have discovered or check the presence of the worm named Stars. F-Secure, for example, said it is not able to claim Jalali associate with the virus they studied.

"We do not know whether this is another cyber attack against Iran. We also do not know whether this is just regular Windows worm which was announced as the attacks in the cyber war," said Mikko Hypponen, antivirus research at F-Secure.
