Speaker Corsair SP2500 Product Review
![]() |
| ReviewEverywhere.blogspot.com |
Corsair SP2500, is a set of speakers designed for the needs of gamers. Through a pair of satellites and a subwoofer that has, this product can give off 232 watts of power. Large enough to make your neighbors look.
Great Design
Although only 2.1 but Corsair berkonfigurasi SP2500 comes with a fairly large size. Both Satellite sized 10.8 x 12 x 15.9 cm that is able to spew the power of 56 watts. While the subwoofer measures 46 x 25.8 x 29.7 cm with a 120 watt power.
Both satellite which dimikinya somewhat different from most other speakers, which comes with separate cables. Corsair also claims both embedded digital signal processing (DSP) specifically so as to produce good sound quality.
In addition to the second satellite, subwoofer SP2500 Corsair also embedded DSP that is not less great. Coupled with their large size (8 inches), this product can produce a loud low tone. So obviously, this speaker is ready lauched until the whole room shook.
This product also comes with wired controller that functions to control all the features in it. Start the power button, volume, up to some existing modes.
Through this controller the user can also adjust the bass level and several equalizer settings. Because it is designed for gamers, then in it there is also a special equalizer games First Person Shooter (FPS) and Action. However, the most special is the Mod X, this feature is used to make watching movies more jarring sound.
Also in this controller mendengerkan users can vote in a variety of simulated conditions, for example, want to feel like being at the Stadium, Theater, Club, Concert Hall, Karaoke, Late Night and others.
Not Just for Gamers
These speakers are made for true gamers who want quality sound, but unfortunately use 2.1 configuration felt still less satisfactory. The reason, most of the games already support surround sound output or 5.1.
But should not be disappointed, though designed for gamers, but Corsair SP2500 fact that even more appropriately used by music lovers who put sound clarity. In each of its satellite there is a tweeter for high tones.
When tested detikINET to listen to the kind of jazz music, these speakers can reproduce sound very well. Symbal voice sounded crisp, with low-tone composition is not excessive. As for the type of rock music, was denied again when his voice is so powerful.
So what if used to watch? No less great, but again limited to the configuration of 2.1 is held. But for most users this would benefit. The reason, more compact and easier installation.
Good music, games, and movies each has a different sound characteristics, and the SP2500 Corsairs features are capable of producing quality sound in each use.
But somehow, the selection of speakers is very subjective depending on the tastes of each user. If pleased with the boomy sound, this product may be less suitable. But for users who are concerned with detailed sound, loud and powerful, maybe Corsair SP2500 can be used as a reference.

Testing Corsair Power Supply
Testing Corsair Power Supply
Here are the equipments you will need to test the Corsair power supply following this tutorial:-
- Corsair power supply
- Power cord
- ATX 20-24 pin PSU connector and 4 Pin Peripheral Connector
- Paperclip
- One or more case fans
- 2/3 pin case fan connector to Molex adapter if needed
Step 1: ( Step for AX/HX series only)
The first thing to do is to connect both the 20-24 pin (AX Series) and the 4-pin Molex (AX/HX series) connector to the Corsair power supply unit (PSU) by using the cables provided with the power supply. You should note that on many of the Corsair Power supplies (PSUs), these cables are permanently connected.
Step 2:
Now, you need to attach the case fan to the Molex connector. If your case fan only has a 2/3 pin connector, use a 2/3 pin case fan connector to Molex adapter. Actually, the Corsair power supply (PSU) has a built-in fan, but depending on the series, it might not spin without a certain amount of load or reaches a certain temperature.
Step 3:
Then, open and bend the paper clip into a u-shape as in the picture.
Step 4:
You will use the paper clip to connect it to the 20/24 pin connecter. Usually the wires are color coded (one green wire and multiple black wires), but with the Corsair AX version power supplies, they are all black. So to bridge the correct pins, face the cable the exact same way shown in the picture below. Locate the pin which is indicated in Green (your green wire) and yellow (your black wire) on the picture below and bridge the two using the paperclip. One way to help make sure you have the correct pins, locate the missing pin on the 20/24 connector (boxed in blue) as it should be on the same row with the bridged pins (all Corsair PSU series have a missing pin).
Final Step:
Finally, make sure the switch on the back of the PSU is set to ( O ) before plugging each side of the power cable to the power supply and the wall outlet. Once the power cord is plugged into both the wall and power supply, make sure to check if all connections are good. Once complete, turn the switch on the back of the power supply to ( I ) and see if the case fan spins. If so you have a functioning PSU!
And that`s it for testing your Corsair power supply. This tutorial was originally made by Carlos Pascual for the Corsair blog. All credits go to him. And, I hope that this tutorial helped you guys here too.

This advanced cooling technology, combined with our relentless screening, delivers phenomenal overclocking potential.
One of the best parts about my job at Corsair is pushing our DDR3 memory to its limits. As you may have seen in the past I set the DRAM Frequency World Record and recently pushed our new Dominator Platinum memory to 3000MHz at Computex 2012. Not everybody can overclock to 3000MHz so let’s take a look at what the 2133MHz, 2400MHz, and 2666MHz Dominator Platinum kits can achieve.SKU# CMD16GX3M4A2800C11

The latest generation of the performance legend.
Corsair Dominator® Platinum builds on the legacy of the world’s most awarded high-performance memory, adding a striking new industrial design and LED lighting effects. Like all Dominator memory modules, they are built using only select memory ICs, highly-screened for performance and stability, and feature our patented DHX (Dual-path Heat eXchange) cooling technology, so you can push them to the limit.Fanatical screening for phenomenal performance
Dominator Platinum memory modules are assembled using a “best of the best” IC screening process. Individual ICs are hand-screened to our highest performance threshold, and then the assembled modules undergo more rounds of rigorous screening and stability testing. The result is reliable performance under extreme pressure.Cooler temperatures for better overclocking headroom
Excess heat limits overclocking potential, reduces performance, and can even lead to shorter component life. Our patented dual-channel DHX cooling system pulls heat away from the modules and allows Dominator Platinum to run at cooler temperatures than lesser memory kits. This advanced cooling technology, combined with our relentless screening, delivers phenomenal overclocking potential.

Real-time monitoring and control with Corsair Link
Put the AX1200i under your control by connecting it directly to a USB header on your motherboard with the included cable, or to a Corsair Link Commander (available separately). Then, download the free Corsair Link Dashboard software for unrivaled power supply monitoring and control options.Monitor power input and output, efficiency, fan speed, and internal temperature, directly from the Windows based application. Or, take it to the next level and set up and modify fan speed profiles, or even select from virtual “single rail” or “multi-rail” software modes, with selectable OCP points.
Stable and Reliable Power Delivery
DSP-controlled, real-time voltage regulation helps ensure that your valuable components receive clean, stable power.Less Heat and Lower Operating Cost
AX1200is extreme efficiency earns it coveted 80 PLUS® Platinum certification. Less wasted power means minimal excess heat. This can reduce the strain on your other components, and it can save you money over the long run in the form of lower power bills.Quiet Operation at low loads
Super-high efficiency has another benefit: silence. The thermally-controlled fan doesnt even spin at low loads. Its ideal if youre building a quiet PC or you just want to reduce the amount of ambient noise in your life.Easy installation and cable routing, with better airflow
The fully modular cable set allows you to use only the cables you need, and the flat design makes cable routing much easier in tight spaces. You get a clean-looking system build with cables out of the airflow path for efficient space usage thats energy efficient as well.Contents and Specifications
